Page with Gwolle guestbook is lagging

We are using Gwolle guestbook on one page on our site. But we have noticed that that page lags considerably. It loads but it takes more than 20 seconds for it to complete.
It I remove the shortcode for Gwolle it works fine. And there are no other pages on the site that lags.

It seems that if I turn off “Visual formatting and Emoji:” in the settings then the problem disappears.

It turned out to be some sort of conflict with the plugin “Ad inserter” (https://wordpress.org/plugins/ad-inserter/). When I disabled that plugin then the page works fine.

Sorry to hear that.

Can you install the plugin Query Monitor?
Then enable visual editor and emoji, together with the ad-inserter plugin.

Query Monitor might tell where the slowness is.
